Poems of Haldhar Nag Translated into the English

 

 

Poems of Haldhar Nag translated into the English, will be released on Gandhi Jayanti, 2016. Nag was awarded Padma Shri this year for literature; he writes poetry in the Koshali language, which has limited readership even within Odisha.

 

Surendra Nath has selected and translated a collection of those poems and compiled them into a volume titled Kavyanjali, so that Haldhar Poetry gets worldwide attention that it deserves.

 

Shri Manoj Das has written the foreword for it. We, Zenith Star, are the publisher. The book launch will be held on 2nd October 2016 at 10.45 a.m. in Cha cTea Bhubaneswar. (Cha cTea is a newly opened concept Tea House near Pantaloons, Saheed Nagar. The release will be preceded by a deliberation on Translations, which will be moderated by the noted author Mr. Ramendra Kumar. Shri Nag will be present.
