Aparajita Mohanty, is a beautiful, versatile and leading Odia actress,and the darling of the millions of viewers, both in the big and small screens. She was born on May 15, 1965, in Odisha. She is regarded as one of the most beautiful Odia actress in the Odia Film Industry. She was the number one Odia actress for quite a long period period of time during her illustrious career.

She started her acting career in 1980 through Odia movie “Seeta Labkush”. Till date she has acted in more than hundred movies. Now she is busy doing character roles in movies and tele-serial-“Bada Ghara Bada Gumara Katha”.

She is married to legendary Odia actor Uttam Mohanty. Both the husband-wife have acted together and have gifted the audience with many hit films in Ollywood. Their son, Tanmay Mohanty, popularly known as Babushan has also entered into the Odia Film Industry through Odia movie “Romeo:the Lover Boy” under the banner of “Brajraj Movies”.
