Job Description Main Purpose:
To manage the Inbound raw material traffic , receipt of raw materials , transportation, storage , handling and feeding to consuming plants in desired quality, quantity and time at optimum handling & transportation cost & inventory level in compliance to all statutory rules & regulations of storage/ handling/ transportation of raw material and safety. 
To Coordinate & Contribute with Engineering Department in commissioning of RMH facilities and their stabilization.
Job Responsibility:
Debottleneck rail logistics by application of TOC principles to minimize wagon turn round time.
Co-ordinate and contribute with Engineering & Project for commissioning & stabilization of raw material handling facilities .
Co-ordinate with Maintenance agencies to improve availability and reliability of wagon unloading equipment ,rolling stocks, evacuation & transportation system etc.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials to customers through timely placement and evacuation of wagons at the unloading points; receipt of material by road .
Monitor and maintain the bins/bunkers position of all the production units in healthy operating condition including the entire RMH facilities.
Manage crisis situation arising out of mismatch between supply and demand of raw materials in case of shut-downs/break-downs/ supplies variance.
Ensure proper stockyard management to minimize raw material mix-ups, de-gradation, moisture etc. by optimum inventory management.

Job Description

Main Purpose:

1. Management of operation & Maintenance of Electrified Railway Track Network of 140 ETKM inside and outside KPO Steel Works having Electronic Interlocking system with the serving station Jakhapura of ECoRly; 8 ETKM of Hot Metal Track inside works and other logistic facilities like re-railing equipment, level crossings, weigh bridges, drop gates etc

2. Coordinate & Contribute with Engineering Dept in commissioning of RMH facilities and their stabilisation

 

Job Responsibility:

1. Develop policies in line with Corporate and Departmental Policies for thrust areas - Life Extension, Elimination of rework, Reliability & Availability of Rail Track Network and ensure compliance .

2. Ensuring Zero Derailments due to Track Defect.

3. De-bottlenecking of constraints in his area of work.

4. Implement decisions of Apex Rail Road Safety Sub-Committee.

5. Ensure 100 % availability of Logistics facilities including track network

6. Plan and ensure compliance to MSDs, MOUs and urgent customer requirements and compliances to Indian Railways guidelines/ rules/ regulations

7. Plan and coordinate during Breakdowns/ Derailments.

8. Meet the customer expectations on Availability, Cost, Delivery and Quality

9. Prepare Daily/ Weekly/Monthly/ Quarterly Job Plans and ABP and review the same at defined intervals.

11. Tracking and analysing break downs to P-Way, OHE/ S&T/ TSS/ Weighbridges, and develop a system to eliminate them.

12. Prepare and obtain approval for major & minor budget schemes.

13. Implement robust Preventive Management System for the maintenance of Track and Logistics facilities.

14. Ensure proper Contract Formulation and Contract Management.

15. Investigate all Quality related problems and improve on current maintenance practices to avoid re-work.

Job Description Main Purpose:
To plan raw material requirement and manage inventory within the specified limit to ensure uninterrupted raw material supply to the customers with desired quality.

Daily review of dispatch / delivery compliance performance.

Ensure that all wagons have been received, if not maintain missing wagon details and take up with concerned agency.
In case of excisable material after GR and Part I posting send the necessary document to Accounts Department for Part II posting.


 
Desired Profile Experience in Raw Material Accounting , Inventory management, Process & Quality Control and knowledge of complete RM process flow of an integrated steel plant from source to consumption are essential & will be preferable.

To coordination, installation & inspection of refractories at Lime kiln.
Job Responsibility: 
Coordination with store for issuance of refractory material.
Maintaining the stock of all refractory material at site as per daily requirement.
Coordination with refractory installation agency for lining the process equipment.
Monitoring the quality of refractory installation as per drawing & QAP.
Compliance of SOP during installation of refractory installation.
Dismantling of worn-out refractories & waste management in associate with the respective departments.
Coordination and communication with Operation, mechanical, electrical, utility team for day to day activities.
Ensuring the safety for routine job and cleaning activities.

Desired Profile Minimum 2 years experience in refractory installation / manufacturing. 
Working experience for SMS refractory installation in any steel plant will be preferable. Working experience in projects will also get advantages.
