Job Description

Main Purpose:

To ensure, maintain and upkeep health of all Steel/ Concrete/ Masonry structures, Drain network located inside Steel Works through scheduled inspection and maintenance. Creation and maintenance of buildings/ roads/ Offices/ Townships.

 

Key Deliverables:

1. Providing support in Vendor evaluation. Development of new vendors/ facilities creation of ARCs.

2. Cost and inventory control within approved limits.

3. Provide support to meet departmental exigency requirement.

4. Study of drawings and basic design

5. Preparation of specification, estimates, evaluation of bids, participation in contractor finalization and order placement

6. Prepare job plans and review the same at defined intervals. Use of CPM/ PERT/ CCPM for project management

Desired Profile 1. Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 12 years of relevant experience

2. Managing financials worth Rs. 40 to 45 crores

Job Description

Main Purpose:

Planning & scheduling of the requirement for securing quality & timely delivery of the material from vendor premises in co-ordination with the project managers, planning & scheduling of the manufacturing cycle with quality check points in co-ordination with the suppliers and other agencies, monitoring of the progress of manufacturing at vendors premises with regard to the quality, conformity with requirement as planned/standards and set timelines, co-ordination with suppliers for adequacy of packing, transport survey, pre-shipment inspection, coordination and arrangement of inspection of material at vendors location, issuance of DCC to the suppliers in coordination with project managers /consultants, follow up control & feed back of the entire activities. Assist Sr. Manager.

 

Key Deliverables:

1. Plan & schedule as required for the project:

1.1 Planning & scheduling of the requirement of material in co-ordination with project mangers/suppliers etc for securing timely delivery of the material.

1.2 Planning & scheduling of the requirement of quality in co-ordination with project mangers/inspection group/suppliers etc for securing quality of the material as planned.

1.3 Planning & scheduling of the manufacturing cycle with quality check points in co-ordination with the suppliers / sub-suppliers and other agencies

 

 

2. Timely readiness of the material for delivery:

2.1 Monitoring of the progress of manufacturing at vendors premises with regard to the quality, conformity with requirement as planned/standards and set timelines,

2.2 Feedback of the progress as per plan

2.3 Mitigate situation in case of expected delay

2.4 Issuance of dispatch clearance

 

 

3. Adequate packaging & surveyed transportation route:

3.1 Co-ordination with supplier/ inspection group and carrying out pre shipment inspection

3.2 Coordination of survey of the probable route of transportation in consultation with suppliers/logistics group etc.

3.3 Coordination with logistics group for despatch of material

3.3 Managing & liasioning for clearances required from various agencies for transportation of odc/ critical / high value consignments

Job Description

Main Purpose:

Manager Mechanical Maintenance Pipelines (Underground & Fire hydrant Pipeline) at KPO is responsible for planning and executing / monitoring the activities of maintenance of underground water pipelines, effluents pipe line, fire hydrant lines & fire pump house

 

Key Deliverables:

 

Manage Mechanical Maintenance of Underground & Fire hydrant pipeline along with fire hydrant pump houses

- Develop and Implement Pipeline maintenance Management System

- Implement short term, long term pipe line replacement plan.

- Manage inspection of pipelines & fire hydrant pump houses.

- Analyse inspection data

- Identification of potential problems before failure.

- Monitor and manage maintenance costs in stated area

- Preparation of RFQs for maintenance jobs where contract help is required.

- Condition Monitoring, Vibration analysis & RCFA etc. to ensure equipment availability

- Corrosion tests for underground pipe lines.

- Manage the quality of customer service and response time during breakdown/repair.

- Implementing SAP PM in his area.

 

 

Manage implementation of strategies and frameworks to optimise and improve efficiency of processes in the department:

- Suggest improvement activities for safety in working near pipeline and Pipeline life improvement.

- Monitor and participate in TQM related activities.

- Develop and Implement cost reduction activities

- Coordinate for the procurement, storage and handling of the pipes.

- Manage the activities for assemblies/modules to be kept in ready for use condition.

- MSD/SD planning & coordination

Desired Profile 1. Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance department of organization of a similar scale and related sector

2. Experience in maintenance of underground piping

3. Must have abilities in the maintenance of underground pipelines and corrosion related failures of pipelines

4. Must have the ability to integrate the subordinates & vendors and inter/intra department in the team for the smooth conveying of fire hydrant water & effluent and underground water lines
